Adnan A. Khawaja, born at Rawalpindi in 1967, hails from business community. After completing his education, he joined family business dealing in trading and textile manufacturing. Mr. Khawaja has travelled widly, meeting persons of eminence in Asia, Europe and Gulf countries. He has also works as Senior Management Advisor to a local prestigious company dealing in oil & gas sectors which enjoys good business links with a number of multi-national companies. Mr. Khawaja thus has a vast experience of working in variety of industries. He has earlier supported various initiatives for establishing quality skills development centers and has first-hand knowledge of industry's perspective of technical education and vocational training.
He aims at introducing competency –based training in Pakistan with the active involvement of private sector. Promoting and strengthening TEVT sector in collaboration with internationally renowned technical education and training providers is also on his priority list.
